SALT LAKE CITY (March 2025) – YESCO, the 105-year-old company known for creating, repairing and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, announces it has completed new interior fine pixel pitch displays for Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The project included installing 54 brilliant individual displays across the property, totaling 335 million pixels.

A centerpiece of the installation is the showroom’s 15-by-32-foot 1.5mm display, engineered to be lowered and raised with a hoist system to accommodate live performances. YESCO’s precise installation ensured the display was perfectly centered between columns with only an inch of clearance on each side. This display is part of a continuous wraparound array of screens designed to allow viewers to track all live sporting events within one field of view.

The poker room now features 26 displays, including an arena-like center-hung display, all utilizing 1.5mm flip-chip technology and enhanced durability. The vestibule entryways to the poker room boast three massive 17-by-21-foot displays with 8K-equivalent resolution and ultra-smooth surfaces designed to display immersive designs.

In the bar area, YESCO helped design, fabricate, and install double-sided hanging ribbons with 1.6mm curved technology consistent with the geometry of the architecture in the gaming floor. The real showpiece is the 8-sided inset custom soffit bar display field-fitted and trimmed by YESCO’s meticulous installers. Enhancing the space’s aesthetic appeal is a 36-inch vertical column with unmistakable “fit n finish” and custom theatrical content creation that can transport the audience into a variety of environments.

Also, included in the installation were two 17-by-6-foot pedestrian level displays on the east and west parking garages.

“Talking Stick Resort has always been at the forefront of using technology to enhance their guest experience, and YESCO has a 15-year history of keeping them ahead of the curve,” said Matt Anderson, director of sales for the Western USA for Media Resources, who manufactured all of the displays. “The Flip-Chip GOB technology used throughout the property was selected not only for its ability to deliver both jaw-dropping brightness and color saturation over time, but also its glue-on-board coating that is designed to withstand the variety of damages, spills, dust collection and unknowns that can happen on a lively gaming floor. Even the incredibly custom double-sided serpentine shapes hanging from the ceiling, 32-inch diameter column and the arena-like circular center-hung display in the poker room all utilize the same coating to protect their shapes for the long-haul, without adding reflectivity,”

For over 10 weeks, YESCO’s installation team worked six days a week to complete this ambitious project for Talking Stick Resort. YESCO also worked closely with design firms, architects, general contractors, the resort’s ownership team and low-voltage subcontractors to ensure flawless execution.

“This project at Talking Stick Resort allowed us to demonstrate the precision and craftsmanship that define YESCO’s work,” said Jeff Young, executive vice president, YESCO. “From the intricate bar displays to the immersive poker room installations, our team delivered a seamless execution that enhances the resort’s world-class offerings.”

“This project was particularly challenging as it was part of a major remodel,” said Kelly G. Chipman, senior account executive, YESCO Arizona. “Fabrication and installation activities were closely coordinated with Penta Building Group and multiple trades throughout all project phases. The constant coordination between YESCO, Media Resources and Penta was critical to the project’s success,”
