SALT LAKE CITY (January 2025) – YESCO, the 105-year-old company known for creating, repairing and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, announces it has completed a series of exterior signage enhancements for the Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert, Arizona. The updates include innovative displays and design features seamlessly blending the theatre’s historic charm with modern technology.

A highlight of the project was YESCO’s collaboration with the Hale Centre Theatre team to elevate the exterior of its concert hall. The result is a striking, 11-foot-tall by 4-foot-wide entrance display made of aluminum construction with LED Daktronics elements. This 6mm galaxy display features a 60-by-240 matrix and a three-foot projection, creating a captivating entryway.

Further enhancing the concert hall, YESCO installed a 6-foot-tall aluminum guitar with animated, color-changing LED strings. This eye-catching piece adds a playful yet elegant touch, reflecting the venue’s commitment to providing an engaging experience for patrons.

The project also included embellishing the existing theatre canopy entrance with vibrant Daktronics units. The 6mm LED display boasts a 120 by 3,240 matrix, adding dynamic messaging capabilities while maintaining the venue’s classic aesthetic.

The Hale Centre Theatre – Arizona opened in 2003 in Gilbert, Arizona and traces its origins back to its founding in California in 1947.

“Our goal with this project was to create signage that not only respects the Hale Centre Theatre’s historic legacy but also captivates today’s audiences,” said Jeff Young, executive vice president, YESCO.
