THE NEON MUSEUM BOARD OF TRUSTEES NOW
MATCHING DONATIONS FOR ANNUAL FUND
LAS VEGAS (September 2020) – The Neon Museum has announced that its annual fund drive is now underway, with a special incentive to donate this month. Through September 30, The Neon Museum Board of Trustees will match every dollar contributed — up to a total of $30,000.
The Neon Museum Annual Fund provides ongoing, unrestricted operating support to the Museum. A donation to the Annual Fund enables the museum to stay open to the public and to continue to provide educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment to visitors from around the world.
The collection of signs at The Neon Museum chronicles the rich history of Las Vegas, with the Neon Boneyard providing a transformative space where signs play the role of storyteller, reminding visitors of years past. Contributions help preserve the museum’s unique Las Vegas art form for future generations.
“Our annual fund is crucial for growth of the museum and we are grateful for the opportunity to double your donations with the help from our Board of Trustees,” said The Neon Museum’s president and chief executive officer, Rob McCoy.
Although the Trustees’ match will conclude at the end of September, the Annual Fund drive will continue into the fall, McCoy noted.
