LAS VEGAS (November 2023) – The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces its upcoming December events and promotions, including the exclusive Las Vegas premiere of “Dope Men” and a book signing with author and journalist Mark Seal.
Las Vegas Premiere of “Dope Men”: a New Documentary on Illicit Drugs and The Mob
Date: Thursday, Dec. 14
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Description: A new documentary explodes the myth that the Mob steered clear of the drug trade. In fact, connections between the Mob and illegal drugs date to the 1920s, when New York racketeer Arnold Rothstein spearheaded heroin trafficking into the United States. “Dope Men: America’s First Drug Cartel” features an all-star cast of respected historians and authorities. After the screening, producer-writers Seth Ferranti and Christian Cipollini will discuss the making of the film and answer questions.
