LAS VEGAS (November 2024) – The Composers Room Showlounge & Restaurant, the premier destination for vintage Vegas entertainment in the Historic Commercial Center, celebrates its first anniversary on Tuesday, Nov. 19. That evening, the venue will host Keith Thompson’s Piano Party, along with other special guest performers, and all attendees will enjoy champagne and a celebratory cake. In addition, Clark County Commissioner Ross Miller will present a proclamation to The Composers Room managing partner Damian Costa in recognition of this milestone.

In a city renowned for its grand-scale productions, The Composers Room is leading a renaissance of small entertainment venues in Las Vegas, providing a refreshing alternative to larger, traditional stages. This revival of intimate, personalized performances echoes Las Vegas’ golden era, when intimate venues showcased pioneering artists and thrilling acts.

Today, The Composers Room continues this legacy, giving rising stars a space to connect with audiences in an up-close, nostalgic atmosphere. Since opening its doors, The Composers Room has established itself as a premier destination for live music and vibrant entertainment in Las Vegas, welcoming 2,500 guests and hosting more than 1,000 memorable events, including performances by renowned Strip headliners and rising stars such as Kelly Clinton, Tony Arias, Keith Thompson, Chadwick Johnson, Earl Turner, Nelson Teran and many more. They’re also home to one of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas fine arts programs.

Over the past year, The Composers Room has played an integral role in the Las Vegas community, supporting numerous local charities such as A Greater Hope, Positively Arts, Life by Music and more.  A steadfast supporter of education in the arts, The Composers Room proudly collaborates with UNLV’s fine arts program, offering students a welcoming venue to hone their music, film, art and theater skills while connecting with a wider audience. This partnership reflects the venue’s dedication to fostering the next generation of artists and enriching the cultural landscape of Las Vegas.

In addition to its support of community nonprofit organizations, The Composers Room has worked hand-in-hand with local elected officials and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) to make improvements to the safety and security of Historic Commercial Center.

“In an era where audiences crave authentic, up-close experiences, The Composers Room has become a beacon for intimate, engaging performances,” said Costa. “Our commitment to showcasing emerging talent and supporting local causes has truly resonated with the community.”

Tickets to the anniversary celebration are $20. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
