LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, NEVADA AND ARIZONA (May 2, 2020) – With Lake Mead National Recreation Area increasing recreational access beginning with annual passholders today, limited services are available throughout the park. Lake Mead Mohave Adventures/Guest Services, Inc., announce the following services are available beginning today:
“The health and safety of our team members and guests remain our top priorities. We are working diligently to obtain necessary safety equipment, including masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and plexiglass barriers, which will allow us to operate in accordance with guidance from local, state and federal public health authorities,” said Rod Taylor, vice president, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures/Guest Services, Inc. “We anticipate being able to provide a more complete roster of services, including boat rentals, by late May. If we’re prepared to implement recommended safety protocol earlier, we can open sooner. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we strive to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience for our guests.”
