WHAT:
On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Wedding Capital of the World™ hosted its annual celebration, “The Magic of Marriage,” at The Composers Room in the Historic Commercial Center. Exclusively for couples who married or renewed their vows in Las Vegas, the intimate event was presented by Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya and featured a romantic sunset vow renewal ceremony, highlighted by a breathtaking dove release.
The ceremony penned by Goya herself, featured a love poem by E.E. Cummings. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, live comedy, interactive magic and musical performances – all produced by Pompey Entertainment. Coordinated by musical director Keith Thompson, iconic love songs and dynamic entertainment by the city’s top resident performers celebrating romance and marriage included Kelly Clinton, Tony Arias, Zowie Bowie, Kiara Sasso, Kelly Vohnn, Amanda Myers and Chadwick Johnson. Magic acts were also led by Matthew Pomeroy and Natasha Lamb of The Conjurors, Doug “Lefty” Leferovich and Farrell and Amanda Dillon.
Attendees also received the opportunity to partake in an auction benefiting A Greater Hope and view the Wedding Capital of the World’s inaugural Wedding Dress Design of the Year. The night concluded with a dining experience finishing with a beautifully designed cake by Red Rock Casino.
