New Ice Display Launches in Conjunction with Kenny Chesney’s Upcoming
Residency at Sphere Las Vegas

WHAT:
Minus5º ICEBAR at Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas unveils a new Blue Chair Bay® Rum-themed ice experience, inspired by country music artist Kenny Chesney’s island lifestyle and Blue Chair Bay® Rum. In conjunction with Chesney’s upcoming residency at Sphere Las Vegas, the new installation transforms the venue into a frozen tropical escape, complete with Adirondack chairs, frozen palm trees, ice-carved rolling waves and a hidden speakeasy.

A team of world-class ice sculptors constructed the new experience over the course of a week. Master ice carvers included Dan “Hollywood” Rebholz, a two-time U.S. Olympic ice carving team competitor with more than 175 competition wins and multiple international titles; Chris Swarbrick, a veteran ice carver with 30 years of experience known for his innovative craftsmanship and artistic expertise; and Peter Slavin, a master sculptor with over 35 years of experience and five world championship titles.

Coinciding with the debut of the new ice display is a lineup of specialty cocktails featuring Blue Chair Bay® Rum, including:

• Blue Chair Bay® Rum Key Lime Pie Dole Whip – Blue Chair Bay® Coconut Rum, melon liqueur, coconut daiquiri, pineapple Dole Whip, key lime cream rum, whipped cream and a graham cracker rim
• Ice In Da Coconut – Blue Chair Bay® Coconut Rum, lime juice and lemon lime soda served in a glass made of ice
• Icy Mudslide – Blue Chair Bay® Vanilla Rum, Blue Chair Bay® Chocolate Rum Cream and half and half served in a glass made of ice

The new construction represents part of Minus5º ICEBAR’s quarterly Staying COOL re-theming program to keep the experience fresh for guests.
