LAS VEGAS (August 2023) – Paradox Museum Las Vegas announces it is now offering teachers complimentary admission. As the world’s most extraordinary collection of educational, mind-twisting and eye-tricking exhibits – teachers can encounter 90 engaging rooms exploring themes such as visual arts, language, philosophy, mathematics, science and more.

Imaginatively designed to inspire learning, the museum features both optical and interactive paradoxes created to challenge vision, perception and the brain. Teachers visiting the museum can discover a variety of “edutainment” experiences to inspire lesson plans their elementary, middle and high school students that encourage creative thinking.

As a stand-out educational exhibit focused on psychology, neuroscience and perceptual science, the museum’s Ames Room provides a fascinating visual paradox exploring the perception of space and distance. Visitors can discover how the room tricks the brain into perceiving dramatic size differences between objects and people in the space by distorting visual cues.

Teachers can also explore the museum’s other distinctive educational experiences, including the Kaleidoscope which highlights geometry, physics and optics. Through the science of light and reflection, this exhibit allows visitors to create their own unique patterns in this three-sided prism.
