GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, WYOMING (January 2021) – Beginning now, visitors to Signal Mountain and Lizard Creek Campgrounds inside Grand Teton National Park can reserve campsites in advance at Recreation.gov. Located on the shore of Jackson Lake near Jackson, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park, the campgrounds offer guests the chance to immerse themselves in the invigorating mountain air and encounter extraordinary wildlife while surrounded by exquisite vistas.
Campsites at Signal Mountain and Lizard Creek allow for RVs up to 30 feet in length. Each campsite offers a picnic table and iron campfire ring. Both campgrounds offer restrooms with cold running water. At Signal Mountain, the campground also offers a public shower and laundromat facility for all park visitors. Also, at nearby Signal Mountain Lodge, a general store provides convenience items for camping, fishing and outdoor fun, including organic and natural food choices, snacks, drinks, fishing supplies and tackle, camping gear, toiletries, gasoline and ice.
With more travelers seeking safe, open-air vacation experiences than ever before, the new reservation system will allow visitors to plan ahead with confidence, knowing they will have a campsite awaiting them when they arrive. A park-wide initiative with the National Park Service, the new system was developed to improve the visitor’s experience and represents a direct response to public requests. Park visitors will be able to check the availability of sites in real time, plan ahead for their trip and receive immediate confirmation.
