LAS VEGAS (February 2023) – Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, April 22, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of imaginative, authentic Italian small plates created by Ferraro’s Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro.
The April Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from Banfi. Founded in 1978 in Montalcino, Tuscany, by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani, Banfi is a state-of-the-art winery. Due to the winery’s favorable microclimate and rich soil, Banfi is renowned for its distinctive Italian wines across the international market.
Taste & Learn attendees will begin the tasting with La Pettegola Vermentino, a delightfully fresh white wine with notes of exotic fruits and spices typical of the Mediterranean coast. Second on the menu is the Chianti Classico Riserva, a deep red wine pairing perfectly with savory pastas and risottos. Next, the Poggio alle Mura Brunello di Montalcino offers hints of sweet red fruits, spices and wood. Guests will conclude the tasting with Summus Toscana IGT, an intense blend of three vines with notes of fruit, jam, spices and coffee.
“Ferraro’s is dedicated to serving only the finest Italian wines to our guests,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “Banfi’s vineyard estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, has been named the five-time ‘International Winery of the Year’ and the 13-time ‘Italian Winery of The Year’ at the International Enological Concourse in Verona, Italy.”
