The Neon Museum is honored to be awarded funding grants through the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and two Nevada community-based organizations: NV Energy Foundation and City of Las Vegas Historic Preservation Commission.

The newly restored, re-electrified Hard Rock Café guitar sign was illuminated for the first time during a private event for museum donors and VIPs. The sign was divided into six pieces (see photos of all six pieces here) in order to be transported to the Neon Museum Boneyard from the Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO)
Lip Smacking Foodie Tours introduces its award-winning culinary experience to San Jose’s upscale Santana Row in the heart of Silicon Valley. This open-air, European-style piazza encompassing trendy restaurants, retail shops, tech companies, a boutique hotel, movie theater and luxurious residences, attracts 12 million visitors annually—making it an ideal place to launch the Lip Smacking Foodie Tour experience.

The Mob Museum was recognized with two awards during the month of February:  its second Mayor’s Urban Design Award in the Historic Preservation and Adaptive Reuse category, this time for The Underground Prohibition history exhibition in the Museum’s basement; and a Double Gold medal for The Underground Moonshine from “The Fifty Best.”
