Magic shows, live performances and dazzling art installations are now part of The LINQ Promenade’s ongoing array of attractions. The open-air retail, entertainment and dining district has added several distinctive new acts and visually dazzling art to its ongoing entertainment and attraction lineup, including a close-up magician, strolling pianist, “piano gymnast,” LED drummers and other street performers.
Construction on the world’s largest and permanent bar made solely of ice will begin Nov. 9. When completed on Nov. 24, ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade will be 1,200 square feet, kept at 23-degrees Fahrenheit and made from nearly 100 tons of ice shipped to Las Vegas from Canada and Minnesota.
The Neon Museum announces tickets are now on sale for “Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @ The Neon Museum Presented by the Engelstad Foundation,” which will be on view Oct. 15 through Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Tickets will be priced at $30 for general admission to the Neon Boneyard and $24 for admission to the nighttime, projection-mapping spectacle “Brilliant!” No paired tickets or discounts will be offered for the duration of the exhibition. For the first time, The Underground at The Mob Museum will make its house-distilled, corn-mash original Moonshine available for off-premise sales in Nevada in collaboration with distributor Johnson Brothers. Lee’s Liquor is eager to carry the moonshine in both 750-mL and 50-mL quantities at all 19 of its stores beginning Friday, Oct. 18.
he Las Vegas Monorail Company today secured long-term financing needed to help fund construction of a new station at Sands Avenue and to replace a short-term loan facility. The new station will provide a direct connection to the Sands Expo Center, The Venetian and The Palazzo Resorts, and to the MSG Sphere, the 18,000-seat entertainment venue currently under construction.
The Underground, the Prohibition history exhibition at The Mob Museum featuring a fully operational distillery and speakeasy, now offers “A Whiskey Tasting You Can’t Refuse.” Guests will experience an ultra-exclusive whiskey tasting, handcrafted cocktails and appetizers inside the VIP room at The Underground speakeasy.
