LAS VEGAS (November 2023) – AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, will transform into a winter wonderland this holiday season. Guests can look forward to an array of holiday experiences, including an immersive viewing of “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” a festive light and sound spectacular inside Museum Fiasco, dinner and a movie featuring “Elf” inside The Wall, holiday-inspired Radiance Wellness programming and more. 

With plenty of colorful photo moments, visitors can also explore The Spine decked out with candy décor, snow globes and other festive winter embellishments this season. The full roster of December programs and promotions follows. 

HOLIDAY EVENTS AND PROGRAMMING:

Dinner and a Movie Featuring “Elf”
Date: Sunday, Dec. 3
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: The Wall

Description: Guests of all ages are invited to a dinner and a movie experience inside The Wall this holiday season. Attendees will enjoy a screening of “Elf” as well as a charming dinner inspired by the holiday film. Prepared by The Beast, the dinner menu includes a Caesar salad, spaghetti and Bolognese served Buddy the Elf-style with a bottle of maple syrup, swirly twirly gumdrops and more. This dinner experience is designed for four guests. 

Karaoke Night – Ugly Sweater Edition
Dates: Thursday, Dec. 14
Time:  7 to 10 p.m.
Location: Asylum Bar + Arcade
Cost:  Admission is complimentary.
Description:  Asylum hosts themed karaoke nights each month. December is the ugly sweater edition hosted by Kara Jockeys. Guests will receive 25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada I.D.

Holiday Edition of Arcade Glory – An Ode to the Emo Movement
Date: Thursday, Dec. 21
Time:  7 to 10 p.m.
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Visitors can enjoy their favorite emo anthems plus 25% off all drinks from 7 to 10 p.m. during next month’s holiday edition of Arcade Glory – An Ode to the Emo Movement. 

Elf Rave in The Wall

Description: Step into a winter wonderland of festive fun at ELF RAVE hosted inside the magical confines of The Portal at AREA15. Embrace the holiday spirit with an unforgettable night filled with laughter, dancing, and the whimsical charm of fellow partygoers who appreciate the magic of Christmas and Elf antics. Whether you’re mingling on the dance floor or sharing hugs in the spirit of holiday cheer, ELF RAVE promises a night of holiday joy. This experience is available for 18+. 

“The Nightmare Before Christmas” Immersive Viewing Experience

Description: “The Nightmare Before Christmas” immersive viewing experience returns to AREA15 for the third consecutive year. Guests can enjoy Tim Burton’s timeless holiday classic enhanced with choreographed light and sound elements synced to the cult classic movie inside the 360-degree, projection-mapped Portal. 

Museum Fiasco: Holidaze Light & Sound Spectacular
Dates: Now through Jan. 7
Times: Noon to midnight
Location: Museum Fiasco

Description: This holiday season, Museum Fiasco invites families to its Holidaze Light & Sound Spectacular. Guests can enjoy their favorite holiday songs remixed by SHAPESHFTR synchronized with spectacular lights. 

Lunar Lodge at LIFTOFF Bar and Ride
Dates: Daily
Time: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

New Year’s Eve “MasqueRave” with Boris Brejcha
Date: Sunday, Dec. 31
Time: Doors will open at 9 p.m.; the event will conclude at 3 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Cost: General admission tickets start at $44.95 per person. VIP tickets are available for $179 per person. Description: AREA15’s New Year’s Eve “MasqueRave” will feature six hours of heart-pounding music spread across two stages, including headlining performances by Boris Brejcha, Ann Clue and Moritz Hofbauer. Attendees will be transported to the deepest, most mysterious depths of the imagination within AREA15’s captivating ballrooms. In addition to live performances in the A-Lot and Portal, guests will also explore hauntingly beautiful art installations, capture unforgettable memories at photo op stations and indulge in enchanting libations. For this night of mystery and wonder, guests are invited to dress the part and don their most other-worldly masquerade masks.

HOLIDAY-INSPIRED RADIANCE WELLNESS EVENTS INSIDE THE PORTAL:

Frequency Breathwork
Date: Wednesday, Dec. 6
Times: Class begins at 7 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Description: Guests are invited to a guided conscious breathwork experience by Frequency Breathwork inside The Portal, AREA15’s 3D projection-mapped room. Attendees can immerse themselves in this deep psychedelic experience through the power and safety of their own oxygen supply. While practicing breathwork, guests will be surrounded by transporting visuals projected throughout the room which heighten the effect of the experience.

Rhythm Ritual – The Art of Sacred Movement and Sound
Date: Thursday, Dec. 7
Times: Class begins at 7 p.m.

Description: Utilizing dance, martial arts, yoga and moving mantras, this class will help guests drop into and open up their bodies. Following the guidance of chants to open the voice, attendees will round out the experience with a splash of ecstatic dance to a live DJ set. To conclude, Rhythm Ritual will bring attendees back to center with breathwork to clear and ground the nervous system and a beautiful sound bath to anchor energy and move into a state of deep relaxation.

Ecstatic Dance Las Vegas
Date: Thursday, Dec. 14

Description: All ages are welcome to Ecstatic Dance Las Vegas by Marissa Romero inside AREA15’s projection-mapped Portal. Each session includes a 30-minute guided movement warm up and opening featuring different movement artists followed by a two-hour live ecstatic dance DJ set with additional artists. The event will conclude with a 15-minute sound healing and closing circle. 

The Sacred Lounge – A Conscious Community Experience
Date: Monday, Dec. 18

Description: Attendees are invited to open their creative pathways and dive deeper into mind, body and spiritual health with Merriliz Monzon and Krystian Eklund. The Sacred Lounge encompasses one-hour guided classes in AREA15’s projection-mapped Portal incorporating movement, meditation and sound bath healing experiences to empower and awaken the community. Guests will be guided through an experiential process of calming the mind, opening the body’s creative channels and learning techniques to elevate their consciousness for the fulfillment of their purpose. Following each session, guests can enjoy a social hour in AREA15’s Sanctuary.

Entheo Presented by Rooted Lounge and ReWyld Collective

Description: Guests are invited to Entheo – a soulful sensory journey into their own psychedelic space. This one-hour-long, multi-sensory immersion, ceremony and sound bath includes themed visual projections, alchemical soundscapes, guided meditation, intention practice, moving mantras, breathwork, elemental rituals, live DJ, sound healing orchestra, spoken word, storytelling and more.

Description: Following every Radiance Wellness Program event, attendees can mix and mingle underneath the twinkling branches at Oddwood Bar and Sanctuary, located in the heart of AREA15. The AL1V5 (pronounced “alive”) menu features wellness-inspired beverages and craft mocktails designed to replenish nutrients and refreshment after class. Guests can try a variety of options including the Ginger Cooler, made with orange and lemon juice, almond syrup, egg whites and ginger beer, or stay hydrated with wellness shots such as the Stay Golden, made with pineapple, turmeric, lemon and coconut water.
