LAS VEGAS (December 2023) – The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces two law enforcement appreciation events taking place in January and the arrival of new Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation merch.
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
Date: Tuesday, Jan. 9
Time: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: The Mob Museum
Cost: Free admission for all federal, state and local law enforcement professionals with an ID.
Description: The Mob Museum announces FREE Museum admission for all law enforcement professionals on Tuesday, Jan. 9, in honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The Museum will also offer an exclusive 15% discount on Museum Membership, souvenir photos, food and beverages and onsite retail items for law enforcement professionals on this day.
Honoring the accomplishments of law enforcement by celebrating acts of perseverance and heroism in combating organized crime is a key tenet of the Museum’s mission. This is done thoughtfully through unique artifacts, on-going public programming and dynamic storytelling about law enforcement agencies and officers and the important role they have played in keeping communities safe from organized criminal activities.

Description: From the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation comes a rich collection of photos in honor of the Department’s 50th anniversary, compiled in a new book, “America’s Finest: Policing Las Vegas.” The collection, captured in recent history, provides a captivating firsthand look at the officers patrolling the city’s streets, crime scenes and the operations of special units. To be signed by LVMPD Undersheriff Andrew Walsh, Las Vegas history buffs and photography fans don’t want to miss the chance to collect a signed first edition.
In addition to the collector’s book, the Museum will also carry new LVMPDF merchandise, including hats, t-shirts and commemorative coins.
