LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (September 2023) – Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) announces its exclusive Houseboat Hotel offer from Nov. 8 to 22 at Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina on Lake Mohave during Las Vegas race week. While prices during Las Vegas’ race week climb, this offer includes special pricing starting at just $600 per night for six people. Visitors who are in town to watch or attend race week events can enjoy a stay on a docked houseboat at tranquil Lake Mohave, located an easy 90-minute drive from Las Vegas.

“For visitors who have never been on a houseboat before, the Houseboat Hotel experience is ideal for guests who want to enjoy the perks of being on a houseboat without the stress of piloting one,” said Chad Taylor, director of sales and marketing, LMMA. “The houseboats can remain docked at the marina the entire time so first-time guests can kick back and relax on the lake while hanging out with friends and family.”

The smallest houseboat model can accommodate up to four guests comfortably and includes two bedrooms and one bath. In addition, the houseboat features a fully equipped kitchen, bed linens, TV, and DVD player, canopied top deck and gas barbecue grill. Additional details and amenities for specific models follow:

50-Foot Sirius Houseboat

50-Foot Alpha XT Houseboat

• Includes two bedrooms.

59-Foot Deluxe Houseboat

• Sleeps 10 guests comfortably. 
• Includes a wet bar with a refrigerator.
• Air mattresses are available.Guests are also encouraged to bring their own sleeping bags if they’re interested in sleeping on the houseboat’s rooftop deck. Upon arrival, visitors can check in from 4 to 8 p.m. and immediately board their houseboat. Guests can also enjoy a later checkout time of 4 p.m. on the final evening of their stay.

Each stay also includes a complimentary half-day deck boat rental available from 8 a.m. to noon. For an additional fee of $299, guests can also extend their deck boat rental from noon to 4 p.m.
