LAS VEGAS (June 2022) – Refuge for Women Las Vegas (RFW), recognizes Hope Builder monthly donors with Wall of Hope mural featuring a painted vine with leaves inscribed with donors’ initials, drawings and painted bricks from survivors of sexual exploitation graduates of RFW.
Designed to inspire and instill hope within the residents in the program, the mural features painted leaves and vines adorned with the initials of all monthly donors and is a physical symbol of the fundamental support of the community members who believe in the women and their journey to recovery. In addition to the vine of support, during the program’s graduation week, participants who have successfully completed the program design and paint their survivor brick with a personal message to be displayed alongside the bricks of women who have come before them and is an ongoing reminder of how far they’ve come.
