SALT LAKE CITY (January 2025) – YESCO, the 105-year-old company known for creating, repairing and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, announces it has completed the design, fabrication and installation of more than 1,200 interior and exterior signs for Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown, California.
This ambitious project featured a variety of signage solutions, including marquee signs, operational and wayfinding displays, venue identifiers and ADA-compliant code signage. Requiring more than 12,000 man-hours of labor over a 30-month period, the project seamlessly integrated form, function and aesthetic appeal into a comprehensive property-wide signage program.
A highlight is the signature feather installation, constructed with a tube steel substructure, aluminum cladding and static white LED modules, providing an elegant focal point for the resort. The feather is supported by a substantial 35-foot-long, 16-inch diameter pipe with a concrete footing extending 15 feet deep, ensuring durability and stability.
Collaborating with notable partners such as Connect Advisors, WORTHGROUP Architects & Designers and Tandem Interior Design Studio, the master sign program was meticulously planned to align with the overall aesthetic of the casino-resort, enhancing its visual identity and guest navigation.
“With over 1,200 signs at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort, the signage is more than directional – it’s an integral part of the guest experience,” said Jeff Young, executive vice president, YESCO. “This project exemplifies how innovative design and expert craftsmanship can create a lasting impression while aligning with the resort’s vision.”
