LAS VEGAS (January 2025) – February is again shaping up to be one of the busiest wedding months of the year in the Wedding Capital of the World™. As an annual Valentine’s Day treat, Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya will open the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport from February 11 through February 25. Renowned for its unparalleled wedding services and iconic venues, Las Vegas is preparing for an influx of couples from across the globe.

For the first time, travelers can view the 2024 Wedding Dress Design of the Year on display immediately adjacent to Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum on the second floor of Terminal 1 above baggage claim. The dress is the winning design from the Wedding Capital of the World’s inaugural contest featuring designs from talented seamstresses across the Las Vegas valley.

February has been considered “Wedding Month” in the Wedding Capital of the World™ since February, 2022 when the county issued its 5-millionth marriage license. Two days later, it celebrated Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (also known as ”twosday”  2/22/22) when 2,341 couples were married. Of course, Valentine’s Day is consistently one of the most popular dates of the year. Valentine’s Day comprise 12 of the 20 most popular dates of all time in Las Vegas. Valentine’s Day 2025, paired with 2/5/25 and 2/25/25 should make February an especially sweet month for couples seeking a special date for their nuptials.

The pop-up Marriage License Bureau is located at Terminal 1 baggage claim and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., every day including weekends, from February 11 through February 25. Goya invites couples to skip the trek to the downtown Marriage License Bureau (open 8 a.m. to midnight, 365 days per year) to, instead, enjoy the many other pleasures Las Vegas offers couples in love. The temporary office will issue marriage licenses as well as vow renewal certificates and will only accept credit card or debit payments. The Clerk’s Office has created a special, limited-edition themed keepsake that couples may choose featuring the Las Vegas skyline and classic Valentine conversation hearts.

“Couples love the excitement of the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport,” said Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk. “Love is always in the air during the month of February and our deputy clerks look forward to serving this special clientele. For eight years, the airport has been such a great partner, we are thrilled we have been able to bring this to our airport couples.”
