LAS VEGAS (December 2024) – Golden Gai Cocktail Club, the intimate drinks destination at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas inspired by the iconic neon-lit alleys of the Golden Gai bar district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, invites guests to ring in 2025 with an elevated New Year’s Eve celebration. The evening will feature live entertainment, a champagne toast at midnight, Michelin-star-quality bites, handcrafted cocktails and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip fireworks display.

Starting at 10 p.m., guests can reserve seats inside Golden Gai Cocktail Club, which will include standing-room-only access to the venue’s outdoor terrace to view the midnight Strip fireworks show. Golden Gai New Year’s Eve options include:

  • Indoor Lounge Tables: $300 food and beverage minimum per person.
  • Highboy Tables: $200 food and beverage minimum per person.
  • Barstools: $150 food and beverage minimum per person.

Golden Gai Cocktail Club’s beverage options include meticulously concocted cocktails reflecting Japan’s heritage and profound connection to nature and seasonality, featuring ingredients such as crisp Fuji apples and premium Japanese spirits.

To enhance the flavors of Golden Gai’s impeccably crafted cocktails and other libations, guests can indulge in small Japanese handhelds and sumptuous bar bites. Made with the finest ingredients, these craveable delicacies with bold, sought-after flavor twists include a variety of sushi handrolls; crispy rice served with spicy tuna, beef tartar, lobster, toro and caviar or tempura vegetables; Japanese Wagyu katsu sliders; Jidori chicken sando sliders and more.

“Golden Gai captures the edgy spirit of Tokyo’s underground, and New Year’s Eve is the perfect night to immerse yourself in its neon-drenched atmosphere,” said John Kunkel, CEO, 50 Eggs Hospitality Group. “It’s where tradition meets rebellion, creating a space that’s as vibrant and unexpected as the drinks we serve.”

Golden Gai is located steps inside the WAKUDA entry in The Palazzo Lobby at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas at 3325 South Las Vegas Blvd. Space is extremely limited. Guests 21 or older may make reservations online here, by calling (702) 665-8592 or emailing Peter Lee at plee@wakudajapanese.com.
