Finalists Announced For Inaugural Wedding Dress Design Of The Year Contest

FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR INAUGURAL WEDDING DRESS DESIGN OF THE YEAR CONTEST

Winning Dress to be Displayed Sept. 28 at
“Magic of Marriage” Celebration and Vow Renewal

LAS VEGAS (September 2024) – The Wedding Capital of the World announces the top four finalists for its inaugural Wedding Dress Design of the Year contest. The winning design will be prominently displayed at the Las Vegas Wedding Club’s “Magic of Marriage” celebration and vow renewal on Saturday, Sept. 28 at The Composers Room inside the Historic Commercial Center.

The exciting competition provides an opportunity for both established and emerging designers to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship in The Wedding Capital of the World®. In addition to The Composers Room, the Wedding Dress Design of the Year will also be featured inside Harry Reid International Airport, providing unmatched exposure for the winning design to a global audience.

Selected by members of the Vegas Wedding Chamber, this year’s finalists include:

• Alexis Marie Schlitt, commercial design.
• Evie Young, commercial design.
• Sondra Falk, Vegas Wedding Chamber member design.
• Natalie Diep and Marilyn To, student design.

These designs will be exhibited at the Clark County Rotunda, located at 500 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89155, from Monday, Sept. 16 through Thursday, Sept. 26. Each design will be accompanied by a stanchion providing designer information and a QR code to direct visitors to social media for voting. Public voting will occur on Instagram and TikTok by commenting on posts from the @vegasweddingcapital accounts during the display period.

The winning design, determined by the highest number of votes, will be announced following the conclusion of voting. Tickets to view the winning dress at the Las Vegas Wedding Club’s “Magic of Marriage” celebration and vow renewal on Saturday, Sept. 28 are still available and may be purchased here.
